DAV Legal is a specialist law firm based in Preston, Lancashire,  providing a national service including outsourcing and agency services to other law firms, specialist advice in relation to pension transfer claims, advocacy at all levels and bespoke services to businesses.

DAV Legal is headed by David T Smith, who is a highly committed and technically strong Solicitor Advocate, qualified to represent in all Higher courts with over 30 years’ experience in supporting a wide range of clients, both locally and nationally.

David has the benefit of service within the Military and Police, which forged his forensic approach to the detail and minutiae of his client’s issues. Perhaps more germane is that his previous careers instilled a sense of commitment, passion, compassion, self-discipline and empathy in the pursuit of justice for his clients.

David has acquired considerable claimant and defendant experience within specialist firms, including blue-chip companies covering a broad spectrum of civil litigation and consumer-focussed claims. He has considerable expertise at all levels of the court system, including the lower courts, High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court as well as Judicial Review.
